“Epstein only took care of Epstein.” Giuffre only refers to the individual as “the prime minister” and said she fears that naming him would subject her to further “hurt” from the perpetrator. In the past, she has alluded to former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak in court filings as one of the many elites who assaulted her, a claim Barak has repeatedly denied.

She was instructed to take him to a cabin, but the man made it clear he “wanted violence” when they were alone. “He choked me repeatedly until I lost consciousness and enjoyed seeing me fear for my life. She immediately ran to Epstein and begged him not to send her back to the prime minister. “I got down on my knees and pleaded with him. I don’t know whether Epstein feared the man or owed him some favor, but he made no promises, coldly declaring the politician’s brutality, ‘You’ll understand this one day,'” she continued.
Shortly after, Epstein sent her back to the politician for a second encounter, which would take place entirely in a booth on the Lolita Express. Though the experience was far less severe, Giuffre wrote that she spent the entire hour in fear that he would suddenly strike or choke her.
Giuffre admits that prior to her experience with violence, she suspected Epstein and believed he cared about the sexually trafficked girls, writing that for the nearly two years Giuffre was with Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, the Southern District Court of Florida, she was not fully domesticated, and admits his “penchant for underage girls was a disease, but in its twisted way, well-intentioned.”
The prime minister’s apathy to her fear and trauma forced the 18-year-old to face the truth. Giuffre chillingly foreshadowed her own demise in the passage, saying that she wouldn’t survive the life of sex trafficking and would either take her own life or die at the hands of one of Epstein’s friends.
“I didn’t know it then, but my second interaction with the Prime Minister was the beginning of the end for me,” Giuffre said, adding that she stopped encouraging Epstein to recruit other young girls as she had pushed him to do in the past. The final breaking point came that summer when Epstein and his wife, Ghislaine Maxwell, asked Giuffre to carry their children; the offer came with a palace, riches, and 24-hour nannies, but Giuffre had to waive all of her legal rights.

The teen immediately worried that they planned to use the child as a future trafficking victim and began planning her escape. She soon fled the couple, but the experiences haunted her for life, especially “the greedy, cruel look on the Prime Minister’s face as I begged for my life.”
Barak has repeatedly denied Giuffre’s abuse allegations or his knowledge that Epstein was running a depraved sex ring. Barak was a personal friend of Epstein’s and used millions of dollars from Epstein to fund a security company. Records show that he visited Epstein on his private island and rode on his private plane.
