Getty Images Brewers outfielder Jackson Chourio left NLCS Game 3, a 3-1 loss for the Brewers, after an apparent concussion and limping. The young Brewer has been battling a hamstring injury and it appeared to flare up again. Blake Perkins entered the game in Chourio’s place. Perkins went 0-for-3, while Chourio was charged with a strikeout despite having two plate appearances. It was just Game 3, he was 0-for-4. Prior to the game, he was hitting this season with two doubles, two home runs, eight RBIs, and three runs through seven games. Chourio said he has an “unseen pitch” in his arsenal and hoped he would be ready to go for games. “I am very optimistic. There are 4 to go here now, and we will hope for the best.” From Chourius delivered on 30-Aug. to pay for a nerve injury the final day on August 29 and through September. In Game 1 of the NLDS against the Cubs, he re-tweaked his right hamstring, forcing him to leave the game after only two innings. He returned for Game 2 and started each game, but was visibly hampered on the bases. He was still able to hit a leadoff home run in Game 2 of the NLCS on Tuesday.
