While it’s a smaller collection of games with a total of six teams on bye, there are numerous high-profile players whose status is in question. We already know the Washington Commanders will be without quarterback Jayden Daniels as they meet the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday night. Meanwhile, Commanders star wideout Terry McLaurin is also questionable for that contest. Outside of Washington dealing with the injury bug, we have the statuses of Lamar Jackson, A.J. Brown, Gardner Minshew, Garrett Wilson, and others to monitor. Both Henry and Njoku were held out of practice on Friday, so there is a good shot that both are ruled out for their Week 8 meeting. Meanwhile, an equally impactful player for the Patriots, Kyle Dugger, also landed on the injury report. Minor finished Friday with a knee injury. Sunday, 1 p.m. ET on CBS | Stream on Paramount+. After appearing on the injury report Thursday with a hamstring injury, Jaylen Waddle was a full participant Friday and carries no designation. Atlanta QB Michael Penix Jr. is listed as questionable because he was limited during the practice week due to a knee injury. When asked this week if he would play on Sunday, he said, “That’s the plan.” Sunday, 1 p.m. ET on Fox | Stream: Fubo (free trial). Jones, Palmer, and Rapp did not practice at all this week, so it’s not a big surprise that the Bills eventually ruled them out. Head coach Sean McDermott noted that Rapp has been placed on injured reserve, meaning he will miss at least four games. Young did not participate in practice all week and is officially listed as doubtful for Week 8. That experienced Andy Dalton will get the start under center for Carolina. Meanwhile, no other players were given an injury designation for this matchup, including defensive tackle Cam Jackson, who missed Thursday’s session because of an illness. Chicago will be missing a lot of key figures in their Week 8 matchup, with Gordon and Stevenson sidelined in the secondary. Meanwhile, with Kmet ruled out, the door could be open for first-round rookie tight end Cole Kmet to see a major opportunity. As for D’Andre Swift, he was limited both Thursday and Friday. The Ravens are listing Lamar Jackson as questionable for Sunday with a full practice on Friday. Jackson’s participation in practice has improved as the week has progressed (limited, limited, then full) as it appears he is in line to return. Sunday, 1 p.m. ET on Fox | Stream: Fubo (free trial). Despite having an injury report listing with an ankle, QB Jaxon Dart carries no designation for Week 8, so he is good to go. Holland did not practice at all this week. Meanwhile, Barnes is leaning toward being a go for Sunday in the narrow shot despite that questionable status. A.J. Brown will miss Week 8 after failing to practice this week due to a hamstring injury. Meanwhile, Brandon Graham, who was ruled out earlier this week, will need some more time on the mend before getting back on the field and will not play this weekend. Sunday, 1 p.m. ET on Fox | Stream: Fubo (Free Try). QB Brock Purdy once again has the San Francisco 49ers from removing him from the team without him starting in Week 8. In his place, Mac Jones will make another start with no designation on the latest injury report. On a more positive note, head coach Kyle Shanahan noted Friday that the team could open Brandon Aiyuk’s practice window next week. Houston will be down two of its top receivers in Week 8 after Nico Collins and Christian Kirk were ruled out. That should equate to plenty of snaps for rookies Jaden Higgins and Jalin Noel. Neither Collins nor Kirk practiced at all this week. Sunday, 1 p.m. ET on CBS | Stream on Paramount+ Downstream in New York, Garrett Wilson and Sauce Gardner, both ruled as out, will miss two of the biggest stars in Week 8. The receiver spot may take even more of a hit as Josh Reynolds popped up on the injury report Friday with a hip injury that now has him questionable. In the fourth quarter, Tyrod Taylor is limited for one week and is officially questioned because Aaron Glenn has not yet declared a starter. Trey Hendrickson is not running straight ahead despite his questionable state. Fast Bar is not exercised on Fridays after finishing both Wednesday and Thursday. Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET on Fox | Stream: Fubo (free trial). Rookie wideout Emeka Egbuka broke the injury news after completing a full practice session Friday, making him available for Week 8. This comes as the receiver missed practice Wednesday and was limited Thursday due to a hamstring injury. Quarterback Baker Mayfield also couldn’t cut it, even though he was limited Friday by a knee injury. New Orleans enters Week 8 completely healthy without any draft picks. Sunday, 4:25 p.m., CBS | Paramount Stream + Trevon Diggs was unable to practice at all this week and has been ruled out. Meanwhile, Overshown and Rivel are still injured on reserve and will have to wait at least one more week to return, although they will be limited to practice for one week. Tyler Guyton, who popped up on Thursday as a limited participant due to an adhesive injury, was ruled out again on Friday and is officially questionable. Denver Broncos are coming healthy into Week 8, with some design final injury reports with well-known players. Sunday, 4:25 p.m., CBS | Stretch Down. Calvin Ridley remains sidelined for the Titans, and Tennessee are without key defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons. Neither practiced this week due to a hamstring injury. Wide receiver Josh Downs cleared the concussion protocol, starting back-to-back full practices, and the Cubs did not give him a Week 8 designation, meaning they will be eligible. Sunday, 8:20 p.m. NBC | Stream: Fubo (free trial). Green Bay rookie wideout Matthew Golden appeared on Friday’s injury report with a hip injury and is now officially questionable. Meanwhile, Josh Jacobs was ruled out of the injury report after being limited in practice for a week. After giving him a day off on Thursday, DK Metcalf returned as a participant in Friday’s practice and has no plans for Week 8.
