When asked about things being different in Memphis from Friday’s loss to the Lakers, Morant, seemingly annoyed, replied, “According to them, I probably shouldn’t have played, to be honest. That’s basically how he got the message.” He made light of the comment. Fox has reached out for comment. Morant finished Friday’s game with eight points, the fewest among the Grizzlies starters.
