Low temperatures will range from 25 to 31° Fahrenheit, with West Virginia hovering near 31° Fahrenheit. From east-central to southeastern Wisconsin, temperatures are forecast to be between 26 and 34° Fahrenheit. This early-season cold spell is brought on by a sprawling high-pressure system originating in Canada. NWS officials urge residents in affected areas to cover sensitive vegetation, insulate exposed pipes, and monitor local forecast updates. The agency warns that additional cold fronts and storm systems could alter conditions, potentially causing natural disasters.
