Shohei Ohtani 2025 বিশ্ব চ্যাম্পিয়নশিপে ইতিহাসে একটি শট আছে। এখানে কিভাবে

It’s time to crown the American entertainment champion, even if a Canadian team enters the fray. The first pitch of the 2025 World Series will be pitched tonight: Friday, October 24. The Toronto Blue Jays will try to prevent the Los Angeles Dodgers from becoming the first team since the 2000 New York Yankees to win back-to-back championships. The Blue Jays will also be trying to prevent Shohei Ohtani from making baseball history. Both feats are a tall order. Before we look at how to watch the World Series, let’s take a look at how both teams got here, and speculate about Ohtani’s potential first at-bat. The Road to the World Series Hilariously, the Blue Jays represent the American League in the series with a regular season record of 94 wins and 68 losses. They faced the Seattle Mariners to get here. George Springer’s home run in the final playoff game cemented his spot, CNN reports. Toronto hasn’t competed in a World Series game since 1993, the year the organization won its second straight championship. On the other side of the coin, the National League’s Dodgers had a regular season record of 93-69, just one win less than the Blue Jays. The Boys in Blue swept the Milwaukee Brewers in the playoffs, who had the best regular season record. This is the franchise’s fifth World Series appearance in the last nine years. Ohtani has already made history in Game 4 against the Brewers in what some are calling the greatest playoff performance in Major League Baseball history. He hit three home runs and pitched six scoreless innings, allowing only two hits. 10 Strike outs. With that kind of momentum, it’s easy to get excited about the possibilities for the World Series. What Historic Feats Could Ohtani Achieve? According to MLB.com, Ohtani has several opportunities to make franchise history. The easiest way to do this is to break any number of offensive performance records, such as most hits or home runs by a pitcher. The record for most hits by a pitcher in a postseason game is three, and the record for most home runs is one. The record for most RBIs by a pitcher is four, while the record for total bases is seven. All of these things seem easily attainable for the talented player. Alternatively, or additionally, Ohtani could make history overall. He has more competition here, as all players can achieve this regardless of their position. No one has ever hit four home runs in a postseason game. This has happened three times in the regular season this year, for the first time so the stage has been set. There is no pressure as only batters should do this in the World Series. The least possible outcome could happen from the mound. Ohtani has the opportunity to be the first pitcher to throw a perfect game or no-hitter in a World Series since the Yankees’ Don Larsen in Game 5 of the 1956 Series. Anything at the plate at that point would just be gravy. This feat would require some cooperation from the coaching staff, as Ohtani has only pitched one complete game in his career. (It is important to note that this no-hitter occurred against the Detroit Tigers when Ohtani was still pitching for the Los Angeles Angels in 2023.) Since Tommy John surgery on his elbow, he has tended to pitch an average of six innings. Only time will tell what Ohtani achieves. How Can I Watch or Stream the 2025 World Series?
