Reports suggest that the Attorney General of Texas is suing the maker of Tylenol, alleging the painkiller can cause autism in young children. Ken Paxton has filed a lawsuit against Johnson & Johnson, the first of its kind by a state government, accusing the company of failing to warn consumers about the risks. Acetaminophen, brand name Tylenol, increases the risk of their child developing autism, they said during a White House press conference. “Don’t take Tylenol, don’t take it,” the president said before adding, “Fight like hell not to take it.” Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit against Tylenol this week, claiming its manufacturer failed to warn consumers about the risks posed by its drug (stock image).
