While he can run, Cummins has been unable to resume bowling due to back-to-back injuries, and with less than a month to go, his participation in the first Test hangs in the balance. “Cummins has started running again and hopes to return to Australia soon,” sources say. He is now aiming to be fit for the second Test starting in Brisbane on December 4th. Scott Boland is expected to be brought into the Australian bowling lineup for the first Test in Cummins’ absence.
