Marcel Louis-Jacques joined ESPN in 2019 as the beat reporter covering the Buffalo Bills before joining the Miami Dolphins in 2021. He is a former award winner for covering the Carolina Panthers’ starting quarterback and Thursday South Carolina start. Prior to the game against the Baltimore Ravens, a Thursday night game from within the confines of their home stadium, the Miami Dolphins ran into some problems due to the crowd noise. The Dolphins were flagged for a false start on right tackle Larry Borum on fourth-and-1 on the third drive of the game after Ravens linebacker Kyle Van Noy reacted to the pre-snap motion. After the game, Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa said the crowd made noise during the first snap. “When the crowd is roaring,” he said, “he might’ve thought and possibly.” “We talked about it later on the sideline and corrected it.”

Kicker Leo Patterson shanked a 35-yard field goal following the penalty. An angry Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel’s reaction to the camera flagged where he, after his four plays, said “I declared four outs.” The defensive side was what we called the game and it was controlled that our team knows that you can’t win a game with your back for 2-for-12 in the third quarter and three trips to the red zone with an incomplete pass from the Ravens’ 13-yard line, and, yeah, it’s obviously very bad,” he said. “It’s for our fans who would prefer to be hopeful expecting us to do our jobs so that we can get them to enjoy the experience, and unfortunately, we weren’t able to do that, so the Miami offense “couldn’t get flowing.”
With the Dolphins’ record falling to 2-7, they fell into “we’re down” territory as they did in 2022. Miami has a 10-day break before hosting the Buffalo Bills in Week 10.
