সল্ট ইংল্যান্ডকে দ্বিতীয় টি-টোয়েন্টিতে নিউজিল্যান্ডের বিপক্ষে জয়ের দিকে নিয়ে যায়

England, led by Phil Salt, secured a commanding 65-run victory against New Zealand in the second T20I in Christchurch, setting a new record. England posted 236-4, the highest score at Hagley Oval, with Salt (85) and captain Harry Brook (78) forming a crucial 129-run partnership for the third wicket. After Jos Buttler’s (4) early dismissal to Jacob Duffy (1-44), and Jacob Bethel (24) falling to Michael Bracewell (1-36), Salt and Brook dominated until Kyle Jamieson (2-47) removed both in the 18th over. New Zealand’s response saw early wickets for Robinson (7) and Rachin Ravindra (8), but Mark Chapman (28) and Tim Seifert (39) put on a 69-run stand. However, this partnership couldn’t replicate the brilliance of Salt and Brook, leading to a heavy defeat. Adil Rashid (2-36) and Liam Plunkett (4-32) impressed with the ball. Following the abandonment of the first T20I due to rain, England now leads the tri-series 1-0. More to follow…
